hull number

I got my hull number today. Le vilain canard is hull number 655. I can't wait to finish her. Hopefully I'll be sailing this weekend. As soon as she is done, I'll post full build instructions and plans. I've done things a little differently than most ducks I've seen.  most people will spout sayings like "leave well enough alone" or "if it ain't broke don't fix it", but i need to be different, so i built my duck with slight changes to the normal technique.

intro....pdracer build

Today starts my venture into puddle ducking. I began constructing Le Villain Canard......my pdracer. I have been planning to build one of these 8' sailboats for about 6 months now, but I never had the time.....or so i told myself...the truth is i was scared. I have never taken on a challenge like this before, so the very thought of it scared me to death. Here I am though, one solid day of building.....and more planning than my wife would like........I have a 3D hull.
